The 3.5 million euro European Union project, "Technical Assistance for Empowering SMEs for Networking and Inter-regional Cooperation" is the first large scale "Networking" project for SMEs in Turkey. The project covers the 5 provinces of Trabzon, Çorum, Samsun, Kahramanmaraş and Gaziantep. It aims to improve the competitiveness of SMEs in these regions via the development and piloting of cluster-based inter and intra-regional networking and cooperation strategies.
So far an identity, stationery, leaflet and all launch materials have been developed. A preliminary website has been designed and put online whilst work commences on a comprehensive project portal.
